The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and according to specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain workflow and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage on-site construction activities and project schedules
Supervise subcontractors, trades, and field staff
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Communicate with project managers and clients regarding progress and issues
Coordinate inspections and resolve field conflicts in real time
Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation
Oversee material deliveries and inventory management

Preferred

5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or similar role
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction methods
Excellent leadership and team coordination skills
Proficient in reading blueprints and using project management tools
OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
